If you're looking for a local, family-owned seafood restaurant with great food, this is the place for you! There are so many great dishes served at Quarterview that it's hard to choose sometimes. A few of my all-time favorites here are the shrimp alfredo, fried shrimp dinner and the stuffed trout is so amazing. The restaurant itself has had some upgrades over the last years so it's large inside and cozy at the same time. The service is great, and I love that it's always filled with families having a great time together. They have tv's around so there is usually a game on for anyone who does not want to miss out on game day and still wants to go out to eat. You really can't go wrong with a visit to Quarterview, and I hope you love it as much as I do!
Get off BourbonStreet, if you want alot of food in a clean restaurant, with free parking and drinks with alcohol. Our waitress loved taking our picture and we stayed until closing time. I ordered the stuffed trout and loved it!!! My husband had the veal and ate half of it, sooo much food ! I tried their version of creole sauce, with a hepping plate of onion rings, Remoulade..., I guess it's a Louisiana thing.
I don't know what these 1star reviews are about. Seems like most of them are habitual complainers. I visited Quarter View on 2 occasions in the last month. Once , it was busy and the other time was early and maybe 1/4 capacity. There's a reason this place has doubled in size. It's still regularly packed to the limit. The food is ALWAYS good and the portions are large. I've never eaten here without taking some home. The lady that greeted us at the hostess stand was pleasant. I'm fairly sure she's the owner with her Husband. I know their Son is In the kitchen because my Son knows him. I like when the owners are anywhere in their respective business. On my most recent visit, I tried something new. It was as good as everything else I've been served here. My 85yo Mother likes the eggplant planks. They were cooked perfectly and yummy as always. This restaurant has a BIG room for parties and events. It's centrally located right in the heart on Metairie. Do yourself a favor and go eat here!
